Subject: Pictures of seats

I wrote out a seat dyeing procedure based on your instructions and others I found on th internet.  I posted it along with photos on my Porsche tech board site.  It has pictures of one of the seats finished and I will post a final photo once I receive some extra dye I just ordered.  Several have voiced interest in your products.  Thanks for the help.

Subject: GREAT PRODUCT - STEERING WHEEL IS LIKE NEW

Hi George,
After our initial communication I finally started to work on my awfully
sticky steering wheel full of bumps and welts, I can once again enjoy the
good feeling of a nice leather
steering wheel.
I followed your instructions applying those great 'LEATHERIQUE
PRODUCTS'. I had been somewhat apprehensive or even doubtful that any
product could ever bring this steering wheel back to an 'as new'
condition, but my fears were unwarranted after observing the results.
I used the PREP AGENT first to get rid of the old build-up. Some of the
bumps and welts almost disappeared, for the heavier ones I used a bit of
really fine sandpaper. After the stuff had sufficiently dried I applied
copious amounts of REJUVENATOR OIL. The next day I followed with
PRESTINE CLEAN and let it all soak in for a couple of days. To finish it
off I applied a coat of BLACK DYE and as instructed, let it dry for
about 48 Hours. That did the job. If I had been a little more careful
with the dye and a bit more patient the steering wheel would be better
than new! There are a couple of tiny spots where I either missed with
the dye or, perhaps, there were blemishes in the original leather, but
only I know those spots- one has to look awfully close and super
critical.
If I want perfection I can always re-do the job some later time, I have
enough of your good product left to repeat it. I also told my
Mercedes-Benz Dealer about my successful job and your great product.
Thanks again for all your help, I have nothing but the highest praise
for LEATHERIQUE,
Heinz

Subject: Re: MBZ Interior After

George....Please feel free to use anything you like, I am soooo pleased with the outcome.....Use this quote if you like" The initial preparation of the aged leather is the MOST important step.....I applied the Rejuvenator oil numerous times, sanding the really dry areas after the first application, and reapplying the oil over a two week period.   When I felt the leather had regained it's original suppleness, I then prepared for the re-dye.....I followed the instructions implicitly, and thus attained the desired result....The initial "softening" of the leatheris, I believe, the most important step to a "like new" interior......Wes Smeltzer-- Original Message -----
